We take quality seriously at yarn&whiskey and we stand by our bags. If you have any problems or concerns with a yarn&whiskey bag purchased from us via our website, at a market, or through a retailer, email orders at yarnandwhiskey dot com. Please include your full name, order number, and a detailed description of your problem and we will respond as quickly as possible.
For the health of our environment, your item will ship in minimal, recycled, and recyclable packaging — that means no plastic or compostable mailers made of plastic. In order to keep down shipping costs for our customers, we refrain from adding excess packaging to your order and encourage you to reuse or recycle our packaging.
We apologize if your items are wrinkled due to our mailers. The wrinkles are temporary but plastic is forever.
You may return most new and unused items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
To have your item repaired, contact us and we will send you a shipping label. Pack your item, including any defective elements and we will make the repairs and ship the item back to you. Items requiring repair will be turned around within one week of us receiving your item.
If you need to return an item for a refund or repair, please email orders at yarnandwhiskey dot com with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
We ship worldwide, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we may not be able to ship to some international destinations. We use USPS First Class Mail and USPS First Class International to ship our items. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
All items are handmade to order and ship within 4-5 weeks. Items typically ship more quickly than this, but sometimes I unexpectedly get a high volume of orders in one day or one weekend and it may take a week or two for me to start working on your order.
