Liberation fabric featuring the African American Flag and remixed it to make Interwoven Liberation. This new design was made by interweaving my fabric remnants in order to make something new. I’m releasing it for Black August, which you can read more about here if you are so inclined.
Interwoven Liberation is a meditation on weaving. Not only have I woven together fabric remnants to create the pattern for the outer fabric, the bag is also lined with interwoven patterns of the African American Flag. Together they create a very cohesive match that looks pretty fly as a Crafters Satchel. Bags are made to order in canvas lined with cotton twill. They come in 4 sizes — mini to large — and can be configured with a crossbody strap.

As a Crafter’s Satchel, this bag represents the pinnacle of our textile studio. Unlike our African print project bags, the Satchel features my original artwork digitally printed on premium canvas and is finished with our exclusive signature logo lining or in this case, a special edition fabric, marking it as a genuine product of our Brooklyn textile studio.
