Born from a late-night sketchbook experiment during a masterclass semester in the historic Scottish Borders at Heriot-Watt University, Amnesia is a study in raw, multi-layered visual depth.
The artwork began as fragments of black deadstock fabric that were folded and bleached. These textured elements were transferred to paper, heavily layered in paint, and dispersed into a striking, abstract composition that mirrors the geometry of an all-seeing eye.
