Ekima the Patchwork Elephant Sewing Kit - Create Your Own Colorful Masterpiece
Make a one-of-a-kind stuffed elephant with fabrics curated exclusively for you by yarn&whiskey. If you love how I mix prints and colors in my project bags, you'll love creating with a custom fabric collection designed just for your elephant.
What's Included:
- Complete written sewing instructions
- Full-size, printed elephant template/pattern pieces for you to cut out and reuse
- Hand-selected fabric scraps chosen specially for you - large, generous pieces that give you maximum creative control. Washed, ironed, folded and tied neatly with string.
- Access to live, virtual Sunday Studio Hours (10am-12pm) for up to 2 sessions (starting in February 2026)
Your Elephant, Your Way: Choose your elephant's main color (like blue, pink, orange, or green) and I'll curate a fabric collection that makes that color sing. You'll receive complementary prints and colors that work beautifully together - because color mixing is what I do best. Can't decide on your color? Then let me surprise you.
The large fabric pieces mean YOU decide how much work you want to do:
- Cut small patchwork squares for a scrappy look
- Create bold strips for a striped elephant
- Use different fabrics for each body part (ears, trunk, legs, body)
- Mix and match however your creativity leads you
Studio Hours Support: Attend virtual studio sessions on Sundays where you can work on your project, ask questions, troubleshoot, and connect with other makers. I'll be there to help just like the studio time I enjoyed as a student at FIT - pop in for focused work time, get help when you need it, or just enjoy the crafting community. First come, first served for questions, with breakout rooms available. Complete your elephant within 60 days of your first session.
The product photos represent an example of what the elephant looks like when completed, the bundle of fabric you'll receive and how it is packaged (you will receive one small bundle of fabric that will be enough to make the elephant), and finally, an example of the size of the pieces of fabric you may receive with your order.
