The theme of my 2026 Collection is Analog and this is the first design: Mixtapes: The Remix 2026
Why a Remix? An earlier version of "Mixtapes" appeared in a collection I designed as a student at FIT in 2021 and later on a dress for Zuri in 2024. Maybe I have a future in trend forecasting, but “analog” is in the zeitgeist right now.
I took the things I loved about my original Mixtapes design — the large scale cassette tapes, the pencil and screwed up tape details, handwritten labels — and created this remix presented on a functional satchel, made for crafting on the go.
