This is a wax print inspired by the Vlisco print called Michelle Obama's Handbag that was released in 2008 to celebrate our Forever Flotus. There were two fabrics originally — one for the bag and later one for the shoes to symbolize that Michelle Obama had set foot on the African continent. Of course when I saw the two motifs on one fabric, I snatched it up. Colors are turquoise, yellow, orange and a little bit of white.
Cinches shut with a sturdy waxed cotton cord and has a handle. Handmade item. Two available in size large and ready to ship.
