I put my own spin on the African American and Juneteenth flags and the result is layered with texture and meaning in two dynamic prints. These repeating textile designs are based on the flag designs for Juneteenth by Ben Haith, and the African American Flag designed by David Hammons. I made this bag for crafters to make a display of pride. Because, once again, our liberation will not be denied.
All sizes feature a boxy bottom, a handle, double pocket, and cinches shut with a waxed cotton drawstring cord so you can take it on the go and keep your projects organized. This updated version is digitally printed in vibrant color and at a slightly smaller scale on the same cotton canvas as our other satchels. The interior is cotton twill. Bags are available in 4 sizes, Mini, Small, Medium, or Large. So pick the size that works for you to let folks know that our liberation will not be denied.

Travel Organization
I am learning to knitting and needed something to take on hikes and travelling. The beautiful canvas fabric is quite sturdy and the box bottom helps it to sit on a bench or a table. The drawstring is of high quality so my accessories don't come out of the bag. The strap helps to just grab it and go. The inside pockets are just large enough so that I don't have to search in the bottom of the bag for my needles and scissors. Most of all the medium size fits in my backpack without added weight. The fabric is an awesome addition of how I want to show my love of my culture in what I wear and carry. Best of all I get to support a Black woman's small business. Will be buying other sizes (especially the large) and spreading the word!

I had been trolling the Yarn and Whiskey site, in a good way of course, hoping for this bag to be re-stocked. To my surprise, just in time for Kwanzaa, it was back.
