If I had to choose one pattern that captures everything I'm about as a designer, this would be it. Inky Florals began with shibori folding techniques and ink on a humble scrap of paper, creating organic floral shapes that felt both ancient and completely new. But the real magic happened when I filled each bloom with patterns from my Reverberations collection—the textile designs I created for my thesis project at FIT.
This is where my academic work meets my artistic heart, where technique serves pure creativity. Every flower holds a different pattern, creating a symphony of textures and rhythms across the fabric. It was the breakout star of my Satchel collection, the design people still ask me to bring back, the one that feels most like me.
Now it's available as a scarf —my signature design in another wearable, statement-making form. This isn't just a pattern; it's a love letter to the journey that brought me here, to the thesis that launched my career, and to everyone who's been asking for its return.
The design is printed on both sides of the scarf, which measures 76 inches x16 inches. Made of 100% light weight organic cotton, you'll grab this season after season.
