This customer favorite started as a failed painting. As a textile design student learning to work with Dr. PH Martin's watercolor dyes at large scale, I created something that just wasn't working. Instead of tossing it, I cut it up and randomly reassembled the pieces into a collage—and that act of letting go and repurposing breathed new life into something I'd almost thrown away.
The design has that shimmering quality of sunlight on water—turquoise with flecks of chartreuse catching the light. It belongs on a beach but works just as well for lounging wherever you are.
Each kaftan is crafted from 100% cotton that's as practical as it is luxurious. Toss it in the washing machine without a second thought—these pieces are made for real life. The vibrant colors come from digital printing with reactive inks, which means the rich hues you fall in love with today will stay just as bold through countless washes and wears.
These pieces are made to order just for you. I’ve teamed up with a small-batch manufacturer to create shirts, kaftans sweatshirts, and tote bags featuring my original textile designs.
