The Great Curated Color De-Stash

The Great Curated Color De-Stash

You ever get tired of your own mess?

That's been me lately. The beginning of every work day last week was me spending a lot of time trying to find things, me moving things into my living room so that I can work, and me not finding a place for everything. There's too much stuff in my studio.

Live view of what I'm tripping over at the moment.

I've been elbows deep in pop up prep and now the disorganization of my studio has been stealing a little bit of my joy.

This week I finally let go of loads of zippers by donating them to Black Girls Sew. That cleared out a whole drawer and now I've got space for the zippers I actually use. I am tired of tripping over boxes of fabric scraps while things I don't use are taking up precious studio real estate. My yarn stash has long grown into more than I can possibly use in my lifetime. And it's all nicely tucked away in 68 gallon storage bins that I could be using for the fabric I'm actually working for almost everything these days. Some of this yarn has got to go off and be enjoyed by someone else. It's time for a Great Destashing. I can hardly believe I'm typing these words because it's been a long time coming and it's long overdue.

But I'm not going to sell the yarn. I'm gifting it to you.

From now until the ancestors whisper "enough", if you spend $100 on my website, you'll get a free skein of yarn. Spend $150 and get 2 skeins of free yarn. Spend $200 and I'll give you 3 skeins. Spend $300 or more and I'll give you 5 skeins. I've been collecting yarn for over 20 years and indie dyed yarn for maybe 10 years, so you're gonna get good stuff. Please note that I can't guarantee matching dye lots or colors, but I do my best. And these are full skeins — some may be missing labels but they will be full skeins.

The offer is available on my website right now. And when you're ordering, feel free to drop me any color preferences you have. And if there are any fibers you absolutely don't want, let me know that, too. Most of the yarn in my stash is natural fibers so no need to specifically call out acrylic. Everything else will be up to me. Trust and believe you'll be given something nice.

My husband and my fabric stash thank you in advance. Help me make room for my new creative adventures.
